Blade Runner 2049 early reactions call sequel stunning, Oscar worthy

The rest of the movie has been shrouded in secrecy for many months, not even the cast or crew are willing to divulge any sort of plot details so no one really knows what to expect!

The first reactions for Blade Runner 2049 are pouring in across the internet, and - like a foggy, neon-choked night in future Los Angeles - they're nearly universally glowing. Denis Villeneuve has a masterpiece.

Blade Runner 2049 opens everywhere on October 6.

Everyone at the press conference had nothing but praise for Villeneuve. Both were directed by Luke Scott, son of the original Blade Runner director, Ridley Scott.

"I learned that filmmaking is much like blending - you have to constantly be committed to creating the best possible outcome".

"Denis brings heart to the darkness", said Robin Wright, who plays Lt. Joshi in the film.

And above all, Villeneuve got lots of love for his decisions when it came to special effects. He's done the impossible and delivered a huge home run with "Blade Runner 2049".

"You feel a support from it", said legendary actor Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford returns to the franchise as Rick Deckard and they are joined by Jared Leto as the villainous Niander Wallace. Black Out 2022 remains faithful to the world of Blade Runner, with a distinctive, futuristic soundtrack provided by Flying Lotus. A film-noir science-fiction mind-boggling, visually shining through a mystery full of twists and turns. Unfortunately, it seems that every couple of weeks we are learning that his untimely death prevented him from appearing in more films.
