Green Bay Packers Victorious Over Bengals; Twitter Reacts

It was a tougher challenge than expected, but the Green Bay Packers picked up their second win of the year over the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime, 27-24.

Now they get a chance to take on their traditional rival in the Green Bay Packers. The Packers have 12 on the list, including these impact players who as of Saturday were all listed as doubtful: David Bakhtiari, Kentrell Brice, Randall Cobb, Mike Daniels, Davon House, Nick Perry, and Jake Ryan. How about Jackson's first National Football League interception a pick-six of Rodgers, a 75-yard return with 10 minutes left in the first half to give the Bengals a 21-7 lead?

It would be all Bengals from there until intermission.

In Aaron Rodgers first career overtime victory, he finished 28/42 passing for 313 yards and three touchdowns.

Shuffling the staff won't help Lewis keep his own job if the Bengals don't start to score points and win games. Jones brought a attitude on defense that the Packers sorely needed.

The defense came out aggressively after the break and started to break through Cincinnati's protection.

Jones, who went 28 picks after King at No. 61 out of North Carolina State, was impressive during the offseason but didn't play a single snap on defense in the September 10 opener against Seattle.

"With the new 33-yard rule, it's (like) a field goal".

The Bengals then began their only sustained drive of the second half with 9:43 to play, moving from their 9 to the Packer 27, using up almost six minutes of the fourth quarter.

That was too much time for Rodgers.

CIN-A.Green 10 yard pass from Dalton (Bullock kick), 9:40.

"I thought we got the ball to our guys and got it to them in space and let them make plays", Dalton said about the switch to Lazor. Even though Mixon didn't convert the first down, it was still rather impressive by Romo. On third and six, Dalton was rushed and flipped a pass to tight end Tyler Kroft but Jones hung on for the tackle to force the punt. "I felt the corner sinking up underneath me on the outside release, and when Aaron [Rodgers] put the ball out there, I could feel the safety running high over the top and I just tried to make a play on it".

One more note from this game, Jordy Nelson gets two touchdowns.

The Green Bay Packers talked all week about balancing the workload for running back Ty Montgomery, but the snap counts from Sunday's overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals reflected more of the same. The Bengals' offense hit paydirt twice after not finding the end zone in its previous two contests while making 21 first downs, compared to a combined 26 in the first two weeks of the season. Though he missed three games due to injury, his completion percentage was 66 percent, he had 25 touchdowns and only seven interceptions, and his passer rating was a sterling 106.2. That was until Allison weaved his way past defenders all the way to the Cincinnati 6-yard line. The Bengals' backfield-by-committee rushing attack combined for 30 carries for 110 yards, with rookie Joe Mixon leading the way with 18 carries for 62 yards. "Justin's first opportunity in a pressure time holding, he did a great job of staying calm and getting it down, staying in the moment".
