Things To Watch For: Colts and Browns

The Browns have a hole at wide receiver because Corey Coleman is on injured reserve with a broken hand suffered September 17 in Baltimore. But for a young team they were still competitive. Kizer was plagued by eight drops from Browns' receivers, but threw two interceptions inside of Colts' territory that were completely on him. It could come down to who takes care of the ball the most, which the edge would certainly go to the Colts and Brissett as Kizer has four interceptions through two games in 2017, while Brissett has just one through five career games. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett did about as good as could be expected, considering he's only been with the team a few weeks.

Quarterback Andrew Luck, center Ryan Kelly, wide receiver Chester Rogers, running back Marlon Mack, linebacker Anthony Walker, and cornerback Quincy Wilson will all be sidelined for this week's game against the 0-2 Browns. Luck is still not ready to play, so Brissett will start because backup Scott Tolzien played so poorly against the Los Angeles Rams. DeShone Kizer has been really inconsistent, injuries have hurt some impact players on both sides of the ball and you've got a really desperate Colts' team waiting on Sunday. Going against the Ravens and the Steelers defenses is good preparation for Kizer to face the Colts.

-The chatter surrounding the future of Chuck Pagano in Indianapolis will grow even louder on Sunday if the Colts lose to the Browns.

To be in a position to win, the Cleveland Browns need everyone healthy.

Brissett's poor play thus far has made offense a lot harder to execute for the Colts, primarily in the passing game.

Davis was inactive the first two games. The problem has been consistency on offense. "I think he will go make plays when given the opportunity".

As always, use this post's comments section to discuss today's game with other Browns fans. It was inconsistent to begin with, and this won't help.

The Browns will likely have to wait at least another week to see Garrett, the No. 1-overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, in action for the first time during the regular season.

The Colts are coming off of a 16-13 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals in which they blew a 10 point lead.

Cleveland (0-3) lost its 15th consecutive road game despite being favored for the first time since 2015 and a road favorite for the first time since 2012. That will be an important part of deciding who wins.
