All that tweet did was give the Thunder even more reason to get after the Warriors when they play this upcoming season.

Kevin Durant is one of the most vocal players on social media.

"His roster wasn't that good, it was just him and Russ (Russell Westbrook)". "Kd can't win a championship with those cats". That suspicion went into overdrive when the tweets disappeared and the account read, "I just deleted it".

His unusual phrasing led internet detectives down a rabbit hole which ended with the discovery of what appeared to be Durant's private Instagram account used to battle trolls online.

Durant has spent much of this summer redefining his social media presence as an authentic voice inside a league of players who often spray out automated responses.

Joel Embiid's Twitter strikes again, this time with the reigning NBA Finals MVP in its crosshairs.

Durant became enemy No1 with Oklahoma fans last summer after he chose to leave the franchise that drafted him back in 2007. "I don't think I will stop engaging with my fans".

"My peers are going to look at me like an idiot", Durant said. And for those people that I know and love and trust to turn their back on me after I was fully invested in them, it was just.more than I could take. He also included a message where he said "I don't care what anyone says. I'll move on from that, it was tough to deal with yesterday".

Durant had a huge part in bringing the Warriors the gift of an National Basketball Association title, but he's no Santa Claus for Green to sit on his lap.

Durant said he hasn't eaten or slept since the incident.

Crook asked Durant whether he'd want human basketball referees to be replaced by machines with artificial intelligence.

Durant said he hit rock bottom.

"The AI refs, they'd call every touch foul", he said. It received one Saturday when Durant posted 40 words in two tweets in reply to a random fan question. He initially balked answering, but eventually said Twitter.
