AdDuplex has released stats for the month ending in August, and the focus this month is on Windows PCs and the Creators Update.

In a blog post, software engineer and Windows Insider spokesperson Dona Sarkar confirmed that the Fall Creators Update is ready to be polished for its expected September debut: "We are now at the point of the development cycle for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update", wrote Sarkar, "where our focus is now on stabilisation for release to the world".

Build 16273 bug fixes include resolving an issue where Facebook status updates got erased during input in the Edge browser, icons couldn't be dragged and dropped around the desktop and the full touch keyboard was "unexpectedly not available" at some screen resolutions. Instead, you can use your laptop's rear camera to take a picture and project the 3D object into the scene. Even though the software's operational support sunset in 2000-five years after its release-95 is not dead yet.

Designers may be thrilled by the new Bahnschrift font, Microsoft's own rendition of the DIN standard used by some European road signs. Last year, a U.S. small claims court even ordered Microsoft to pay $10,000 to a user who claimed that the forced Windows 10 download made her PC unstable.
