Dana White posts footage of Conor McGregor sparring Paulie Malignaggi

"For those that don't know this is Conor vs Paulie Malignaggi former IBF and WBA World Champion". Malignaggi believed the photos posted were misleading and disrespectful in nature since they showed him on the canvas and McGregor landing flush.

LAS VEGAS - According to Conor McGregor, former world champion boxer Paulie Malignaggi quit as one of his primary sparring partners because he was getting "whupped" during sessions.

"He showed (up), he tried his best, it didn't go his way", McGregor said. The sparring partners that were in the house with him were anxious that night, saying he's incoherent, he's stumbling.

Days after Malignaggi posted a statement on Friday morning explaining that he has made a decision to leave the Irishman's camp after just two sessions, White's sparring clip has brought about plenty of debate.

Mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor says he has become "the face of the fight game" ahead of his upcoming multi-million-dollar boxing match against Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas this month.

Malignaggi, 36, denied McGregor knocked him down with a punch, telling ESPN he was "shoved down".

When asked during a media scrum if he agrees McGregor, who has never boxed professionally before, will "win" in some ways if he's able to last 12 rounds with the all-time great, Mayweather quickly agreed.

"He was knocked down, the ropes kept him up multiple times, he was badly concussed. A billion-dollar event. I think we both owe the fans, everyone that's tuned in - I think we both should give them excitement".

He added: "The spars were not good for him".

Dana White and many others have pointed to Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s troubles with southpaws as a reason a huge underdog has a chance to upset him August 26. We're going to fight him. "And then the train just kind of rolls with it and it keeps picking up steam as the predictions keep coming true", he said. Like I said, if I was to label him after any animal, it would be the rat or the weasel.

Malignaggi has said he wouldn't release any tactical or strategic information following his experience with McGregor. "You can't prepare for me".
