Chelsea ready to go with £35m for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues have made an opening offer of £25 million for the England worldwide, who only has a year left on his contract at the Emirates stadium.

The report states that the England worldwide is attracted by the suggestion of a Stamford Bridge move as it appears as though he will receive a higher wage in addition to playing in the Champions League.

One of which is for Arsenal midfielder, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Oxlade-Chamberlain could soon be making the trip across London to play for the Premier League champions.

The Daily Star note in their report that Oxlade-Chamberlain would welcome a move to Stamford Bridge, which comes as no surprise - who wouldn't?

The club can also offer Champions League football with Conte keen to strengthen and having been angered by the club's transfer activity so far this summer.

"He is today very conscious of his qualities as well, which he was not always, and I personally believe he will be a very great player".

The Gunners are also now facing the same dilemma with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, both of whom have also refused to commit their futures to the North London club amid interest from other clubs.

And he has earmarked the England man to compete with his title-winning right-wing back Victor Moses, a position Oxlade-Chamberlain prefers over the left wing back role he has been deployed in during pre-season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain scored six goals and made 11 assists in 27 starts and 18 substitute appearances in all competitions in the 2016-17 campaign. The 23-year-old is a favourite among fans and fellow team-mates and a departure from the Emirates would be devastating for the club.
