The new Xbox Wireless Adapter is significantly slimmer

Microsoft unveiled three new Xbox Wireless Controllers today, shown above, along with a smaller Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10.

Two of the controllers - Green/Gray and Volcano Shadow, priced at $65 and $70 respectively - are due out August 3. Previously, the PC's wireless adapter for Xbox One controllers was massive and very clunky.

The Patrol Tech Special Edition will also be available bundled with a Cable for Windows for $70 from select retailers worldwide including the official Microsoft store.

The new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 will be available August 8 at $24.99.

The new controllers have all the features that we are used to by now. This controller has a laser-etched texture, insignia, and silver accents, as well as a rubberized diamond grip on the back. The only other fact worth noting is that the adapter does not work with Xbox 360 controllers, just like the original version of the Xbox Wireless Adapter. Finally, the new Xbox Wireless Adapter is $25 by itself or $80 with the controller. The controller costs $69.99 and is expected to begin shipping September 5. However, during an interview of Julien Laferriere (the game's producer) with We Write Things, Laferriere expressed his enthusiasm for the Xbox One X and the fact that the device allows titles to run even better.

Starting on August 31st, each Steak Quesorito Box will include a unique code, which consumers can text in for a chance to win the system. "Features a 66% smaller design, wireless stereo sound support, and the ability to connect up to eight controllers at once". You can also take advantage of the custom button-mapping feature through the Xbox Accessories App. It is arguably the most compact adapter Microsoft has released so far.
