Chris Christie Gets In Chicago Cubs Fan's Face At Recent Game

Chris Christie took time at a Milwaukee Brewers baseball game Sunday to yell in a fan's face, calling him a "big shot".

"You're a big shot", Christie said to Chicago Cubs fan Brad Joseph.

Hutchison recorded the end of the confrontation, as Christie got in Joseph's face after being called a hypocrite.

After that, Joseph recounts some of Christie's security detail coming over and "threatening all of us with being 'locked up, '" before walking away. Joseph told a local TV station that he saw Christie and yelled that he "sucked". Apparently Christie's original response was to yell at the guy to have another beer, but then the governor started back up the steps calling Joseph a tough guy.

The Cubs fan seems confused because who wouldn't be confused by a governor acting like a parent at a youth baseball game? This poor Cubs fan would have had a better chance at being named World Series MVP than beating up Christie while he's holding nachos. Joseph responds "I appreciate that". Christie's son works for the Brewers.

Joseph is definitely right that the "why don't you have another beer" come back is kind of amusing.

"Which I thought was a decent comeback, and I thought that was was kind of amusing", Joseph said.

Early this month Christie-who has less than six months left in office as New Jersey's Governor and a below 15 percent approval rating-outraged citizens when he closed beaches on the July 4 holiday.

It isn't clear exactly what fans were saying to Christie at the game.

"I just think that's wrong and it doesn't look good, As an official elected and a public figure".

New Jersey governors theses days, amirite? A couple of weeks ago Christie was heavily booed after catching a foul ball at a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets.
