Is Dr. Dre Working On Eminem's New Album?

Director, Allen Hughes, and music mega mogul Jimmy Iovine have teamed up for a new HBO documentary The Defiant Ones.

"Dre still records", Hughes said to Uproxx. Literally, he's in there recording songs every day. He's like Picasso in that way. He also briefly mentions that Dre is now "in the 11th hour" producing tracks for Eminem's next album.

Despite his lack of music output, Dre continues to be a towering presence in the industry between the 2015 release of Straight Outta Compton and his involvement with Apple Music via their purchase of Beats by Dre.

Eminem and Dr. Dre could be reuniting for "Old Time's Sake" yet again.

The work-in-progress album will be the first solid run of music that Eminem's released since The Marshall Mathers LP 2 back in 2013.

That came after he posted a photo with Eminem two weeks ago.

The imagery starts off with multiple artists from Stevie Nicks, to Will.i.Am, to Diddy, and more, and the intro alone will keep you enthralled before the screen titles even run. "You know, this like rap talk. Eminem, what would you need a remix for?" Chainz said he recorded with Eminem after being connected through D-12's Denaun Porter. When have you ever did a remix for someone or for yourself?

But first, fans have to get over Eminem's gnarly new beard. And that made me sad. "Picture a ideal picture/picture me in a pimp hat/picture me starting s**t/picture me busting my gat".
