WB is introducing most of their supporting characters for the first time in Justice League opposed to how Marvel had already introduced every member of the team by the time they came together for The Avengers.

The studio will partner with outlets including Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Walmart, Costco and Amazon for exclusive in-store and digital promotions. Interactive Entertainment will also push the event.

Comics writers, including Greg Rucka, Phil Jimenez, Cliff Chiang, Shea Fontana, Marc Andreyko, and Cat Staggs will also be participating, though exactly how remains to be announced. The second will be an all-ages book, featuring a chapter from the upcoming DC Super Hero Girls Vol. 3: Summer Olympus by Shea Fontana with art by Yancey Labat. According to Wong, who broke the tweet, Snyder confirmed sequel plans at the Wonder Woman premiere in Shanghai over the weekend.

To celebrate, DC Entertainment coupled with over 2,000 comic book shops, book stores and libraries. Wonder Woman has gotten solid initial feedback from early screenings which prompted the speculation that a sequel would exist. And finally, DC will kick off a sale on Wonder Woman digital comics beginning on May 30.
