Four new iPad variants to start production in December

Last year Apple didn't take part in Black Friday at all, possibly because they don't have to or possibly because they don't want to, your guess is as good as mine. In 2013 the company offered specials on bundled gift cards. Many might be skeptical since the past years of Apple's Black Friday events only gave discounts that were hardly a deal at all. This meant shoppers were forced to look at third-party retailers, like Best Buy, Walmart and Target, for product offers. If a new tablet is what you are looking for, Target has some sweet discounts; the iPad Air 2 will be offered at $125 discount.

This is true because while everyone else was busy throwing around huge discounts on Apple iPhones and other products a year ago, Cupertino sat back the entire Black Friday shopping period. On previous year's Black Friday, the product was offered for $84.99.

Walmart: The iPad mini 2 is on sale for $199 (down from $269, in stores only). Also the 2017 iPad Pro refresh will be powered by the Apple A10X CPU, an upgrade which is even faster than the A10 SoC found in the iPhone 7. Apple announced a one-day shopping event on its website, urging us to check back in when the sale starts. Talking about Apple's current flagship phone, the iPhone 7 isn't exactly discounted, but there are several "deals with a twist" which you may consider. Currently, the lineup includes a 7.9-inch Mini model, the 9.7-inch iPad Air and the 12.90-inch iPad Pro. Further, iPhone 7 buyers (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint) will receive a $250 gift card. But the newer Series 1 (with S2 chip) and Series 2 (S2 chip, GPS, and waterproof) models are the same prices as at the Apple store, $269 and up. Best Buy is also knocking $200 off the price of the 256GB MacBook Air, bringing it down from $1,199 to a straight $1,000. Although it does not have the same power as the iPad Pro 2, the iPad Mini 5 will come with its own incredible specs under the hood headed by Apple's A9X processor.
